The Lookout is Scugog's free, supervised youth drop-in space. It is located on the upper floor of the Scugog Community Recreation Centre. The Lookout is a place to hangout with friends, game, or watch movies. It is free to drop in and includes:

National Youth Week is May 1 – 7 every year. It is a week dedicated to the celebration of youth and their active participation in their community. Whether it is recreation, drama, sport, dance, civic engagement, art, volunteerism or leadership, everyday young people are involved in meaningful activities during their discretionary time. National Youth Week is a time to honour their involvement.
There are a variety of opportunities for youth to volunteer within the Township of Scugog and other community organizations.
To volunteer with our camps or recreation programs youth must attend a volunteer orientation and complete a volunteer application. All participants are required to participate in a free volunteer orientation prior to applying. Youth can register online for any of the currently available orientation dates. To receive a volunteer application form please email recreation@scugog.ca.
